Our client, a multinational company operating in the country’s agricultural sector, seeks a skilled
and experienced Irrigation Engineer/Supervisor to oversee the management and construction of
their agricultural irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background,
excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Oversee the day-to-day operations of our irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance and
efficiency
 Develop and implement strategies to optimise water usage and minimise water loss
 Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to irrigation equipment and infrastructure
 Manage the planning, design, and construction of new irrigation systems
 Collect and analyse data on irrigation system performance, water usage, and crop yields
 Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
 3-5 years of experience in managing agricultural irrigation systems
 Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, including pump systems, pipelines, and control systems
 Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
 Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
 Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office and irrigation management software
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 Valid driver’s license

BENEFITS:
Salary: Earn a salary between GHS3,000.00 and GHS5,000.00 based on experience and qualifications.
