Our client is a reputable company that deals in large medical equipment and requires the services of a SALES LEAD. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the medical equipment sector. The Sales Lead is responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue objectives. This role involves strategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives. The Sales Lead will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships while consistently delivering exceptional results. The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and revenue goals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as their applications in the healthcare industry.
  • Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Create sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage and track the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are met.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue from existing clients.
  • Continuously improve and streamline the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Implement best practices and tools to enhance efficiency, such as CRM software, sales analytics, and sales automation.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: The Candidate Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Proven experience in medical equipment sales, preferably with large or specialized medical equipment.
  • 5 years of proven records in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Understanding of market trends and customer behaviour.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to identify major industry partners in the shortest possible time.
